Yet another reason to oppose the death penalty

Some states (like Texas) put non-murderers to death. This guy, who probably has an IQ of about 75 was sentenced to death in Texas for driving the getaway car. Being an accomplice to murder is not the same thing as committing murder, but Texas has a bizarre law that says otherwise.

Even granting this assumes, of course, that the state is even competent to decide matters of guilt and innocence, which it is not.
