The Dutch intelligence service called off an operation against Iran’s weapons industry on the basis that they believe a U.S. attack on Iran’s alleged nuclear program is imminent: a U.S. air strike is likely to occur “within weeks.” Conveniently, so is the presidential election. Since the state is the embodiment of all that is good and right with the world, however, there isn’t the slightest chance of any connection between the two.
