The Republicans are making fun, and rightly so, of the plywood Greek temple Barack Obama will speak from tonight. Their intent is to creep out the Christian right, which already thinks Obama may be the Antichrist. Since I am always on the lookout for State attempts at self-divinization, I was creeped out myself when he spoke from an actual temple of Hercules in Jordan.
