LRC iPhone App?

Writes Konrad Graf from Freiburg, Germany: "I appreciate your site and articles such as 'Your Tax Dollars at Work' today. Having just finished the audiobook of 1984 a couple days ago...well... 'What photos of what war? There aren't any photos. There never have been any photos!'

"Also, the new podcast is a great addition.

"On the innovation front, I have been wanting to suggest, especially since I see you are a Mac person (I write this on my 7th Mac), the Bloomberg App for iPhone 2.0 as one potential model for the outlines of a free LRC iPhone App that could distribute the articles and the blog and more.

"I'm not sure who could build such an App, but maybe you know someone who could. I find myself sometimes reading Bloomberg news now just because its news App is sitting on my iPhone real estate. It's convenient to just touch the App icon and have the news immediately there on the screen, already properly formated for the phone. Trying to read an ordinary Web site on the phone's Safari iteration is just a lot clunkier.

"The Bloomberg App also has a customizable stock tracker button. As a bonus, why not build the LRC App with buttons linking to a gold and silver price tracker next to the article and blog buttons? Future links could include growth in M3, national debt counter, or whatever, but that is less essential than the basic blog and article links. Extras could always be added in future upgrades.

"Just wanted to put the idea out, in case you know someone who might be able to take up the challenge of developing something like this. I imagine there are other news Apps that could be referenced as well, and then an original design put together for this."
