Read Mr. Krblich's comments below, and you will see why Ron Paul and the Paulians have wrought a great victory this year. And they did it with real libertarian ideas, not by compromise and trimming. Though I am fascinated by politics -- it's my "demon rum" -- I have little faith in democracy. Votes, schmotes. Ron Paul has changed hearts and minds. He has changed this country, and his movement will continue to do so for decades to come. If we all do our part, we can have a libertarian future. We do not have to bequeath the total state to our children and grandchildren. Politics, as exciting as it is, will never be the path to freedom. Changing the climate of opinion is, and Ron Paul has done that. He has lit a prairie fire for liberty. May we all be here to see it burn away the dross of war, imperialism, democratic socialism, and red-state fascism. Our descendants -- indeed the entire world -- will bless our names.
