TED--Technology, Entertainment, Design--is an annual conference in Monterey, California. Attendance costs $6,000 a year, and not everyone is accepted. The speakers come from all over the world, can speak for no more than 20 minutes, and are extraordinary. Good for TED for making some of them available for free.
