The best ex-president of my lifetime refuses to abide by the State Department’s “we’re goody-two-shoes and you’re dirty-bare-feet” attitude towards the demonized groups and peoples of the moment. That is, he is an actual peacemaker. And it is peacemakers, not warmakers, who shall be called blessed and the children of God.
