Closing government schools, of course! New research shows that fewer children suffer from the flu during school vacations. This has the impact of strongly recommending that public health officials close schools in the event of a flu pandemic. I could almost applaud the long arm of public health officials if I didn’t realize that they would of course force private schools, and potentially businesses, to follow suit at the point of a gun.
