In Arizona, women attend Taser parties that resemble Tupperware get-togethers. In 2007, Taser International released its fits-in-a-purse C2 model, which comes in a variety of colors, including metallic pink.
This is the lead story in today's Detroit News. Michigan lawmakers are trying to add Michigan to the list of states in which folks - outside of the official ranks of the police state - can legally carry tasers. Though I love tupperware, I typically don't do tupperware parties because of the "Oprah effect" that tends to take over these types of functions. However, I'd be more than delighted to host an all-female taser party.
