After all, Tibet has in the past few decades been improving itself, Taiwan now is on the verge of electing politicians who want friendly relations with China, and China itself was hoping to have a very good year with the Olympics. What better way to throw a wrench in the gears than to get some Tibetans to cause some trouble?”
