According to CNN, our fine, upstanding war machine, beloved of so many pro-family conservatives, is responsible for a rate of PTSD (including sexual trauma) among women that is even higher than the already high rate among men. "The VA diagnosed 60,000 veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. Of those, 22 percent of women suffered from 'military sexual trauma,' which includes sexual harassment or assault, compared with 1 percent of men."
Where are all the outraged conservatives complaining about women in combat roles? They used to warn against this, at least partly for the potential sexual issues. They can't afford to complain about it now because they need every warm body they can get to maintain the empire.
