Republicans fear aliens: principled supporters of what are, in popular rhetoric, Republican principles. In fact, of course, the Republicans are the preeminent party of fascism, perpetual war, the police state, militarism, socialism for the rich, nationalism, and dictatorship. No wonder they love the insane neocon (if I do not repeat myself) McCain, and reject Ron Paul. (Thanks to Eric Garris.)
