If there is one thing that bothers the neocon Christopher Hitchens more than the idea of a world without the CIA and MI6, or perpetual war, it is someone interested in God, in this case Norman Mailer. I only met Mailer once, but if I may praise him to the skies, he reminded me of Murray Rothbard, and I am thrilled by his new book, and not only because Hitchens despises it. All of Mailer is worth reading, but I can't wait until Amazon delivers this unorthodox one.

BTW, I love this Mailer-Taki dialogue on empire.
