Lying to a grand jury is, if anything, the least of our worries. In the name of law and order cops often break the law in order to create catch criminals. They sell drugs and solicit sex, for example. They are the ones who truly are above the law. But not to worry. We all know that police officers are severely reprimanded and forever shunned into moral opprobrium.
