Who are the real space cadets?

I was watching Fox News this morning (why, I don’t know) and they were complaining about the current slate of Republican “frontrunners” (i.e., the candidates that are actually talked about in the MSM) and how none of them have an economic plan that offers real, radical structural reform to our broken system.

One of the women talking heads spoke up and said something along the lines of, “Well, Ron Paul is talking about that. In fact, he’s talking about eliminating entire departments from the government. That sounds pretty radical to me.” Of course, in typical Faux News fashion, the next talking head said, “You might as well be asking Marvin the Martian what his economic policy would be because that’s about the chance that Ron Paul has of winning.” Haha. Lots of chuckles.

Oh, fools, keep on laughing. Yeah, keep right on laughing right through the recession and dollar crisis that is looming without some real structural reform. I, for one, don’t find it remotely humorous. I don’t think that the American people will find it very amusing either, which is why they need to support Ron Paul. But, I guess, with the media blackout of the Good Doctor, I fear a lot of folks won’t even know that they HAVE a choice. I admire Lew for being such an optimist, but boy is it hard sometimes.
