re: WaPo Notices Ron Paul Letter Campaign

I can attest to the fact that this stuff is actually happening. A couple of weekends ago I participated in a letter-writing campaign with members of the Pittsburgh Ron Paul Meetup group. We didn't write the letters by hand, but we did sign each one and put a handwritten Post-It note on each, including an email address and/or phone number where we could be reached if the recipient wanted more information. In addition, we included a business card with a summary of Ron Paul's positions and a DVD with YouTube videos of Dr. Paul's speeches and media appearances. We managed to put all of this in a sturdy envelope and still keep it just under an ounce so that we could send it all for a single first class stamp. We sent out 420 letters that day--not bad for 12 people over the course of about 3 hours, especially since the letter hadn't yet been fully written when we started.
