The neocons, that is. Here is David Hill on David Horowitz’s site claiming that Ron Paul is doing badly in Texas.

His evidence? That Ron lost a Rick Perry-rigged straw poll that only party hacks could vote in. Then he describes polling he allegedly did in Ron’s “suburban Houston district.”

But Ron’s 14th district is nowhere near Houston. Hill even claims that the socialist NASA is headquartered in Ron’s district. But that is not true either.

Clearly Hill thinks Ron still represents the old 22nd district, but that hasn’t been true since 1985! Clearly, the “noble lie” has fallen on hard times.

BTW, Ron has won his congressional district with increasing majorities, culminating in landslides. That will be true in 2008 too, since he can–thanks to an LBJ law–run for congress and president at the same time.
