I read progressive blogger Dave Neiwert's shallow hit piece on Ron Paul this morning and just rolled my eyes at the absurdity of the allegations, which are readily apparent to anyone who knows Ron Paul's views on unconstitutional legislation. The embarrassment of having written such a post could have been prevented with just a little open minded research. Glenn Greenwald does the hard work of actually addressing particular Niewert distortions as well as calling out several liberal bloggers for their lazy smear jobs of Ron Paul.
