Government schools crowding out private

I’m noticing a disturbing trend. Not only do we get taxed to support government schools we refuse to use, but now the government schools are bidding away our best young teachers with higher salaries. The private schools are becoming a mere farm system for the government ones. I guess this is just basic economics but it’s a shock to be on the receiving end with my son’s first grade class losing its teacher the second week of school.
