On MSNBC’s Morning Joe today, sidekick Willy Geist noted that Ron’s fundraising has been very successful, but prefaced it by claiming, “Of course, Ron Paul can’t win.” Joe Scarborough, with somber mien, added that “a favorite of this show,” Mike Huckabee, had only raised a million, and appeared to be ready to drop out. Needless to say, the Rev. Warmonger has never been described on that show as a guy who couldn’t win, though he has always been that. This media-wide mantra that Ron can’t win is, of course, both wishful thinking and an attempt to stigmatize. But since no Ron supporter or potential supporter would ever be influenced by the MSM, these slurs have only one effect: they strengthen the Ron Paul Revolution and undermine the MSM. So as maddening as the constant demeaning is, it will work to the good of freedom.
