Ron Paul's Natural Habitat

Posted by Lew Rockwell at September 21, 2007 02:53 PM

Writes D. Saul Weiner: "A while back, George Will referred to Ron Paul as a quaint anachronism. Insinuating that a man like Paul is in some sense obsolete is of course ridiculous; we need a lot more like him, in Washington and elsewhere. A more apt description for Ron Paul is that he is an endangered species of sorts. And as with other, literal, endangered species, the problem originates in the loss of natural habitat, in his case a Constitutional Republic. The survival of endangered species can never depend on the State. Only its rollback can assure the survival and flourishing of Dr. Paul and other like-minded individuals."
