The market continues to come to the rescue of people in need of medicine. Publix supermarkets are now offering seven common antibiotics for free, going Wal-Mart's discounted drugs one better. (Notice how the governor of Florida, who had nothing to do with this market innovation, had to show up for the announcement.) The more stores that do this, the harder it will be for the usual suspects to gripe about monopolies and unfair business practices.
