Lew, I read the Rod Dreher piece and enjoyed it. Then I started reading the comments. I didn't read them all because I didn't have time. I stopped after reading this one from Roger Campbell:
I really don't want to blast a man who has seen the light, but...Welcome to the real world. Many of us didn't need to experience the last 4 years to know the things you've just figured out.
A little knowledge of world history and some contemplation on the nature of man... and even a half-wit would "get it".Now, maybe you'll give some thought to The Constitution, the rule of law, the U.S. military empire... and how much of an enemy of liberty the Republican party has become (not that the Democrats are that much better).
...and maybe you will listen to Eisenhower's prescient warning about the military-industrial complex and Madison's warnings about war... like: "No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare."
The neo-con agenda is a recipe for America's destruction.
