Ron Paul in the LA Times

Posted by Tex MacRae at July 25, 2007 09:57 AM

The LAT lumps Ron Paul and Mike Gravel together as old oddballs. "So who are these guys? Can two old men in rubber shoes win their parties' nomination to be leader of the free world?"

For some reason, they write about the Kansas City rally from six weeks ago. Maybe Mountain View was too far away? Or maybe it's so they could use this line: "He shields his eyes from the lights. He shoves a hand in his suit pocket. He thanks the crowd and says how great it is to be in Kansas, which raises eyebrows because he is in Missouri." Oh, snap! Because everyone knows that when you're in KC you must keep track of which side of the river you're on. Sheesh.
