The dollar is dropping down a hole, thanks to Greenspan, Bernanke, Congress, and Bush. This alone can wreck the empire abroad and the imperial welfare state at home. That’s all to the good, of course, but the concomitant economic suffering is not. We’re in a recession. Is worse ahead?
Only one public official–schooled in Austrian economics–has battled these mad inflationary policies, while arguing for sound money: Ron Paul. We’re not stuck in an slough of despond. Reform is possible. But the current gang in DC is worse than useless.
