The US's planting of anti-missile missiles in Poland is not defensive, but aggressive. It is designed to make a first-strike against Russia possible, since retaliation would be hindered, and therefore enhance US hegemony. And note that Bush has publicly claimed a US right to a first-use of nuclear weapons, which the US had long foresworn (after their monstrous use against Japanese civilians). In light of all this, here are some interesting comments from a Russian general about a very destabilizing move. (Thanks to Sean Corrigan.)
