Listening to Fran Townsend, Bush’s counterterrorism scare-talker over the last two days, I’ve been struck by her refusal to answer a single question. Instead, she responds with another propaganda talking point. Of course, this hardly makes her unique among pols and bureaucrats. But Ron Paul is unique: he actually answers the questions he is asked, intelligently and fearlessly. This is one reason that even MSM reporters respect him, and why people like the Google employees are startled and then charmed. He answers the questions. No spinning. No misdirection. No baloney.
