Writes Michael Plumley: "I'm writing to echo Michael Sinclair's thought on Ron Paul being the only sane candidate on the trail... and I'm a Democrat too. On Wednesday, I had the Edwards and Obama campaigns call to ask for my continued support. I proudly told both that I have given my support to Ron Paul. The lady from the Obama campaign clearly had no idea who Dr. Paul is and the guy from the Edwards campaign seemed puzzled (I've been a supporter for several years). I told him I had my reasons, and we had a cordial chat about Ohio politics.
"My switch came after watching the first two Republican debates. To me, the number one issue facing America is our interventionist policy. While I don't agree with Dr. Paul on several social issues, not supporting him because of this would be a joke in the face of policy that leads us into unnecessary wars with their consequences, puts a target on the backs of our troops and citizens throughout the world, and erodes our freedoms. We need Ron Paul in office to take care of out foreign policy mess - he's the only one out the entire field that can. You know this and I know this, hopefully more people will continue to find out.
