Writes Aaron Abel: "There is a simple explanation for this. The Fox debate had regular commercial breaks, paid for by the usual Wall Street investment firms and drug companies that pay for Fox air time. The CNN debate was commercial free, solely funded by the non-profit AARP. Since AARP no doubt laid out a ton of cash for these debates, it is only reasonable to expect them to get more air time for the candidates sympathetic to the AARP platform of more big government welfare. A look at this newsletter will make clear CNN didn't ask the only doctor among the canidates what he would do about health care.
"Ron Paul is the only canidate running who has worked in medicine as a provider. Ron also provided medical care for his patients without government programs dear to AARP, AARP does not want people hearing that they do not need government to get health care, that would by extension mean people do not need AARP."
