Lew, if this Arkansas boob-bumper is correct, doesn't this help explain why so many people are convinced that the state is behind terrorist attacks? If people will embrace Bush as attacks escalate, why wouldn't the suspicion arise that his administration would find it in its interests to see to it that they do? For the remainder of us who prefer rational thought, why wouldn't the increased failure to prevent attacks be taken as evidence of the failure of Bush policies? The reasoning of this Arkansas nitwit fits in with those who regard the failure of the criminal "justice" system to deter crime, or the failure of the government schools to educate children, as a justification for pouring more tax dollars into such systems.
It's no wonder the GOP wants to keep Ron Paul off the debating platform and out of the opinion polls.
