Brian Williams completely misses the point - which seems to be a job requirement in the mainstream media: the content differences between Brian's and Vinny's reports will be subject to independent analysis by millions of people. Intelligent minds will be able to evaluate such reporting less on the "credentials" each reporter has spent "developing" in order to get into his present position, and more on the substance of what is said. Also, many of the Vinnys of the Internet world will be spending their time discussing what the political establishment - and its sycophantic media - prefers to be kept from our minds. "Pay no attention to that man in his Bronx efficiency apartment, . . . and listen to our updated reports on Don Imus and Anna Nicole Smith's baby!"
