I've had the "pleasure" of dealing with taxes today. While using an online tool to find and maximize deductions, I came across a section where you're supposed to declare other sources of income. One of those was "income from hobbies." It really is a sad state of affairs when people are supposed to declare things like the sales of photographs or other arts and crafts.
There is nothing sacred left. The government wants it all.
