Lew, your reference to land mines that continue to kill reminds me of one of the most powerful anti-war films: "Aftermath: The Remnants of War." It addresses such problems as unexploded munitions from World War I, continuing birth defects from "agent orange," and other atrocities. Were a sequel to the film to be produced today, the Israeli government's dropping of thousands of unexploded cluster-bombs in Lebanon would have to be added to the list.
