Retired Army Gen. Barry R. McCaffrey, has hit upon the reason we are not able to leave Iraq:
"The Iraqi Army is real, growing and much more willing to fight. However, they are very badly equipped."
There we have it! Three hundred forty-four billion dollars into it, those stingy American taxpayers refuse to do what it takes to equip the Iraqi army! In our "either you are with us or the terrorists" world, I am growing increasingly suspicious of the American taxpayer. Thank goodness for the Military Commissions Act. I trust our officials will immediately launch an investigation into the wreckers and saboteurs who are shortchanging the war effort!
