Including Larry Pratt. Lamont is one of those phony antiwar Democrats: against Republican wars, but not willing to call for an end to them. (The real antiwar public figures are the few, the proud, the Ron Pauls: those who opposed Clinton's wars and Bush's.) Still, I can't help but root against Commissar Joe. He is a warmonger, police statist, and welfarist of the worst sort. Lamont, on the other hand, is a scion of the Eastern Establishment (his great grandfather was Thomas P. Lamont, J.P. Morgan's partner), which means he is probably not as crazy as the neocons.
