A news report tells us that today's commuter plane crash in Lexington, Kentucky - killing 49 persons - was probably due to the pilot trying to take off from the wrong (a too short) runway.
I wonder how many lives have been saved by TSA employees confiscating bottles of milk from nursing mothers, sewing scissors, matchbooks, or fingernail clippers, in furtherance of the government's bogus bogeyman campaign? I wonder how many lives might have been saved, this morning, had even one of these employees been looking out the window - instead of rummaging through a grandmotherly purse - to observe that a plane was about to depart from the wrong runway?
