Reagan Revisionism

Posted by Lew Rockwell at July 5, 2006 04:54 PM

In foreign policy, Ronald Reagan talked a pretty belligerent game, but the reality, in retrospect, seems different. He left Lebanon. He settled with Gorbachev. True, he invaded Grenada, but that was it. Was he, in bloody US presidential terms, pro-peace? An antiwar scholar I talked to today agrees, and thinks Reagan might have been "a second Eisenhower." Has anyone written on this?
