The Drudge Report informs us that Chinese president Hu Jintao's arrival at the White House was interrupted by a woman shouting to President Bush to "stop him from killing; . . . stop persecuting the Falun Gong." The woman was immediately hauled away by gendarmes from the Secret Service. The incident occurred, notes Drudge, right after "Bush urged Hu to allow Chinese to 'speak freely.'"
It is just such a devotion to the principle of consistent contradiction that is contributing to the destruction of American society. Concepts have no meaning that allow intelligent minds to make critical distinctions.
Network newscasters will - if they cover the story at all - provide the digestive juices to help Americans metabolize their accustomed diet of lies and contradictions. All of this may, however, have to await the media's coverage of the more crucial news reports: Tom Cruise's baby; the latest "breaking news" on the missing girl on Aruba; or a freeway car-chase!
