No surprise that the Supreme Court (which the Anti-Federalists fingered as an agent of tyranny) has ruled that the president may keep Jose Padilla, a US civilian, in military prison indefinitely without charge because he is suspicious. And now we are told that the death penalty is appropriate for Zacarias Moussaoui, not for bombing anybody, but for not telling the cops all they wanted to hear.
