re: The Anti-Syria Scam

Everyone should read Paul Craig Roberts' article today on "The Anti-Syria Scam" being perpetrated by GOP mascot Condoleeza Rice. Roberts hits the nail square on the head, as usual.

The puppet media have been repeating the story over and over and over again that a "prestigious" United Nations "report" has supposedly proven that the government of Syria was behind the assassination of a Lebanese politician. (If true, so what? It's none of our business). But while watching the coverage of this on the FOX B.S. Channel recently a dirty little secret slipped out of the mouth of one of the GOP propagandists posing as a journalist. According to FOX the "evidence" that the Syrian government planned the murder of a Lebanese politician is the word of a single (anonymous) man, who claims to have overheard some Syran politicians discussing the evil deed. The man was not identified and his motives were not questioned.

This of course has not stopped Bush himself from going on international television to condemn the Syrian government and pave the way for another war, if that is what it takes to resurrect his reputation (a Don Quixote adventure if ever there was one).

The Party of Lincoln will bomb as many cities as it takes, and kill as many civilians as it takes, to hold on to power. It's been that way since 1861.
