Lew, I'm glad that there is a new place for Camp Casey on private property. I hope the hawks respect it and do not vandalize the new location.
I just realized right now that not only did the man defile the crosses, but also dozens of American flags, presumably privately owned. I'd like to hear at least one con condemn the act outright. The fact that "there are strong feelings" in favor of destroying a pro-peace memorial with crosses and flags to honor the war dead does not strike me as a compelling defense of it. There are often strong feelings behind shameful and criminal behavior.
