I wonder if we'll hear a peep from the conservative talk radio shock jocks about this. Remember how much they complained about Democrats allegedly ruining Republicans' pro-Bush yard signs? And we know how much they huff and puff if you want to burn your own American flag. And yet the same rightwingers who (rightly) decry such petty politically-motivated private vandalism, and who (wrongly) ask for more laws to protect the symbol of the state from "desecration," will likely say little about this disgraceful and disgustingly disrespectful attack on these symbols of religion and loved ones lost in war.
