LBJ: Lincoln Jr.

Regarding Murray Polner’s Tuesday LRC article on LBJ, it reminded me of how LBJ used blacks to his own advantage–like Lincoln. Said LBJ: “I’ll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years.”
