George-the-Great

Is it no more than analogical that the movie "Alexander" is not realizing its expected success? Alexander succeeded where his modern autocratic counterpart, George III, has only begun: to conquer the then-known world. Perhaps the film's producers misread public appetites for world conquest. It may provide encouragement to those with more peaceful dispositions to realize, as Jay Leno so aptly expressed it, that "Alexander" is being beaten at the box office by "Spongebob Squarepants."
