I'm shocked that such a principled and knowledgable libertarian as Stephan Kinsella would complain about and criticize the honorable Italian tradition of private law enforcement -- in this case, debt collection by Ralph Raico's Uncle Carmine.
Surely, Stephan, private debt collection would be more efficient and just than if a government bureaucracy were to be assigned the same tasks. Please rethink your position. I recommend Bruce Benson's work on the privatization of law, along with yet another viewing of "The Godfather."
