Anthony, I once stopped and debated a LaRouchie and we attracted a little crowd. When it became clear I was winning the LaRouchie screamed that I was a libertarian and thus believed people should have sex in the streets.
Several years ago, LaRouche's number-one priority was stopping the DC City Government form selling a local hospital to a private corporation. He actually argued that Congress had a duty to stop DC from selling the hospital because the Constitution says the federal government has to "preserve the general welfare." Yet, supporters of the welfare state are never smeared as LaRouchies in the neocon press.
