The Worst Thing About the New York Times

What's the worst thing about The New York Times?

Is it the occasional scandal with its writers? Or perhaps its smug political correctness? It must be the paper's establishment liberal bias.

Nope. I'd say it's the paper's collusion with the government of New York City to use eminent domain to steal private property for the purpose of building its new headquarters. The government says it's for the "public good," since the paper will raise more tax revenue than the current owner of the land. (Thanks to Strike the Root for the link.)

Of course, a lot of big businesses take advantage of eminent domain. Shame on them. And shame on the parasites in the government who never learned it's wrong to steal.
