Jesse, you gotta love the pro-war Catholics of late. Of course, I'll cut that girl you quote some slack since I'm guessing that she's about 17 years old. Others don't get off so easy. Does anyone know if Crisis magazine has apologized yet for telling its readers that we should just "trust the President" and dive enthusiastically into war with Iraq?
Of course you don't have to be a neocon Catholic to have problems. I still meet some Catholics who are trying to prove to me that the naval victory at Lepanto was proof that God loves war, a la Jerry Falwell. Apparently, the Mother of God herself was there cheering on the bloodshed. Please.
