Writes William Wall:
"Re. Bob Wallace's Comment on Invasion of England
"Bob, It's always good to have a Wallace on your side (this is a Celtic thing) but I'd like to say how interesting I find your analysis of the north/south divide. I couldn't agree more. What I'd like to say is Ireland would really like to have you on board for the invasion of England. A Wallace tried it before, as you know, but he wasn't able to complete the regime-change. Now is the time for a rematch. How about it?
"If you can bring the Wallace clan, we promise to invade Northern North America (but not Canada) and reinstate Scotsmen on the Supreme Court. We'll bring Celticism to America once we've gotten rid of this messianic Junta in London. Would installing a Kennedy as proconsul be a mite too much?
We're also prepared to include all Wallaces on the eventual list of people who will be allowed to exploit English resources - how about a monopoly on imitation kilts (made in Liverpool)? The heritage industry is another plum that might become available if we can stabilise the situation before tourism implodes."
