Re: 35 Grooooovy Heroes...

This is a really fun piece, posted by Marcus Epstein, and written by Kevin Michael Grace. Reason's list of freedom heroes was downright shameful, even though I always assumed that the editors' intentions were to merely spark a skirmish (and hence publicity) within the libertarian ranks with their farcical and boorish list. Note the comments below the Kevin Michael Grace piece, and see the long-winded, Libertine response equating Dennis Rodman and Thomas Jefferson. Such classless tripe - dredging up Jefferson's slave ownership as an indicator of Jefferson's Rodmanesque status - confirms the first reader's comment: I’m beginning to think that saying “I’m a libertarian,” is a euphemism for “I really wanna be a Marxist like those cool hippies in the sixties, but I don’t have the guts to give up my leather couch and favorite Starbucks brew.”
